Brianna Mireles has been selected as the 2022-2023 Sequoyah Elementary Support Employee of the Year!
Brianna has worked at Sequoyah for two years as the front office clerk/ attendance clerk.
"My responsibilities are to make and receive phone calls, enter attendance, and enroll new students," she said. "I wanted to work in education because I have always been grateful to my teachers and the educational system for making me the person I am today. I want to make that impact on a student so they can have that opportunity to enhance their skills and watch children grow and develop into confident, self-sufficient learners."
Brianna said her favorite part about the job is giving back to the community and watching students grow. She also went to Sequoyah during her childhood and is grateful to be back as an adult for her career.
